Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sugar
dash of salt
2 c. milk, scalded
3 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. butter
bananas
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Scald milk in saucepan.
Combine flour, sugar and salt and add slowly to milk, stirring constantly.
Continue stirring and cook over low heat until thickened.
Beat egg yolks, then add a little of the hot mixture and cook another 2 minutes.
Add butter and vanilla.
Cool.
Add bananas before mixture is cold.
