Pasta With Sausage And Creamy Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Italian sausage
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    2 medium-size ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
    1/2 c. canned tomato sauce
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1/4 c. fresh or frozen peas
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1/2 lb. (about 2 1/2 c.) rigatoni or mostaccioli, cooked
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Remove casings from sausage. Crumble meat. Melt butter in deep, heavy frying pan. Add sausage and onion and cook SLOWLY until meat is lightly browned. Stir in garlic, tomatoes, tomato sauce and wine. Increase heat to medium and boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Mix in peas and cream and cook until thickened. Spoon over cooked pasta. Mix lightly. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
