Chicken With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large chicken (about 3 to 3 1/2 lb.), cleaned
    1 to 1 1/2 qt. water
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. flour
    pinch of baking powder
    1 large egg
    1/4 to 1/3 c. chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large pot, place chicken, water, onion, celery, salt and pepper.
    Cook chicken until done.
    Remove from broth and allow to cool.
