Three Week Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 onion
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    In large bowl, shred cabbage and onion.
    Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar over all and let set.
    Bring to boil vinegar, oil, 3/4 cup sugar, celery seed, salt and prepared mustard.
    Pour over cabbage. Cover and put in refrigerator.
    Leave several hours, then stir and serve.
