Caramel Layer Chocolate Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Melt
    caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated
    milk
    (either
    in double boiler or microwave) until smooth.
    Set aside.
    Combine cake mix, butter, remaining 1/3 cup milk
    and
    nuts
    together. Press half mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle morsels on top and pour caramel evenly over morsels. Crumble remaining dough over top.
    Bake
    for 15 to 18 minutes more.
    Cool. Cut in squares.
