Chocolate Caramel Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small apples
    6 wooden skewers
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. vanilla caramels
    1 sheet wax paper
Preparation
    Insert skewers into apples part way through.
    Divide nuts into 6 mounds onto wax paper.
    Heat chocolate chips, water and caramels in a pot on low heat until mixture is smooth.
    Stir occasionally. Dip each apple, one at a time, into chocolate mixture until evenly coated.
    Then roll into nuts.
    If chocolate mixture hardens before you are finished, just reheat on a low flame.
    Let apples stand until firm.
