Nanny Dickard'S Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    hot chicken broth
    1 egg
Preparation
    Beat egg with fork.
    Mix flour, salt and egg with fork; add hot broth,
    1/2
    cup
    at a time, until dough forms a ball. Roll out
    very thin on a well floured surface.
    Cut into small squares. Drop
    into
    very
    hot
    broth,
    one
    at
    a time.
    Add chicken pieces,
    salt,
    pepper
    and
    2 tablespoons margarine. Cover and let simmer 30 minutes.
