Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick oats
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Add to mixture and mix well.
Then add to cooled oats and mix. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
