Queen'S Biscuits(Biscotti Di Regina) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. milk (divided)
    sesame seed
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease 2 baking sheets.
    Sift first 4 ingredients into large bowl.
    Cut shortening in with pastry blender until size of peas.
    Stir in eggs and one tablespoon milk at a time to make a soft dough.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Break into small pieces, roll between palms to form rolls about 1 1/2-inch long. Flatten slightly, roll in sesame seed.
    Place on cookie sheet about 3/4-inch apart.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
    Cool on rack.
