Chicken Liver Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. chicken livers
    1 (7 or 8 oz.) jar straw mushrooms
    2 or 3 Tbsp. canola margarine
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    pepper to taste
    1/2 c. red wine
Preparation
    Cut livers in half.
    Leave mushrooms whole.
    Brown in margarine or butter.
    Add garlic, parsley and pepper.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add wine and cook on low in skillet, about 5 minutes, or until livers are no longer red inside.
    Transfer to chafing dish to keep warm.
    Whole small button mushrooms can be used instead of straw.
