Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. thin sliced cucumbers
    1 or more onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine the first 3 ingredients and let stand 2 hours.
    Make a syrup of the remaining ingredients.
    Boil until dissolved, then cool. Drain cucumbers and pour syrup over; mix well.
    Pack in containers and freeze.
