Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. yellow squash
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned stuffing mix
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    2 onions, finely chopped
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender.
    Drain; reserve 1 1/2 cups liquid. Season with salt and pepper.
    Mash.
    Combine reserved liquid and remaining ingredients except 1/2 cup stuffing mix.
    Stir in squash.
    Top with reserved stuffing.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
