Ingredients

1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. skim milk
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

In saucepan, blend cocoa, sugar, cornstarch, salt and milk. Cook over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil and begins to thicken.
Stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Mix 1/4 cup of the mixture with egg whites.
Gradually stir egg white mixture into hot mixture.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Pour in custard cups. Chill.
