100% Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake or pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. warm water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. skim milk powder
    1 Tbsp. oil (optional)
    5 1/2 c. fine 100% whole wheat flour
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast, sugar and molasses in 1/4 cup warm water. Shake together in a jar and add to the yeast mixture the 2 cups warm water, salt, skim milk powder and oil (optional).
    Sift and measure the whole wheat flour.
    Add flour gradually, beating until well mixed, using sufficient flour to make a dough stiff enough to handle.
    Knead thoroughly on a lightly floured board, keeping dough soft.
    Shape into a ball; place in oiled crockery bowl. Turn dough over.
    Cover with damp cloth; let rise until double. Punch down; shape into 2 loaves.
    Place in lightly oiled pan. Cover with damp cloth; let rise until doubled.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Makes 2 loaves.
