Calico Luncheon Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 green pepper, cut up
    1 c. cold cooked rice
    1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    1 medium tomato, chopped
    1/2 c. frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
    1 Tbsp. chopped green onions
    2 Tbsp. Newman's Own olive oil and vinegar dressing
    1 tsp. dried basil leaves
    fresh spinach or lettuce leaves (if desired)
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except spinach or lettuce leaves.
    Toss well.
    Serve on green leaves.
    This is still good the second day.
