Mushroom Cheese Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. margarine, softened
2 1/2 oz. jar Green Giant sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tsp. chopped chives
5 oz. jar Old English cheese spread
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
Preparation

In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese and margarine until light and fluffy.
Finely chop mushrooms, reserving a few slices for garnish; add chopped mushrooms and chives to cream cheese mixture.
Shape into balls; cover and chill several hours or overnight until firm.
In a small bowl, beat cheese spread with liquid smoke.
Frost cream cheese ball with smoky cheese mixture. Garnish with reserved mushroom slices and fresh parsley.
Chill until ready to serve.
Serve with crackers.
