Corn Cheese Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes, peeled and cut
    6 carrots, peeled and cut
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 onion, peeled and sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. water
    2 (16 oz.) cans cream-style corn
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In the 2 cups of water, steam the veggies, salt and pepper for 10 minutes.
    Add creamed corn and continue to cook slowly until veggies are done.
    Season to taste and set aside.
