Aunt Becky'S London Broil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. London broil
    black pepper
    meat tenderizer
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Rub 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and 1 1/4 teaspoons tenderizer on each side of meat.
    In frypan, heat the oil.
    Let pan get hot (425\u00b0).
    Add the margarine.
    Cook 5 minutes on each side (cooking time for rare, which is best).
    Slice thinly; place on platter. Make au jus by adding 1/4 cup water.
    Scrape bottom of pan while simmering 2 to 3 minutes on high heat.
    Pour over meat and serve.
