Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. scalding milk
dash of nutmeg (optional)
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, salt and flavorings.
Slowly pour in milk.
Mix well.
Add to 9-inch pie shell, add nutmeg to top of pie.
Bake on lowest rack of oven at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 50 minutes.
