Spiced Raisin Sauce For Ham - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. arrowroot
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. cider vinegar
2 c. water
1 c. raisins, rinsed and drained
2 Tbsp. oleo
Preparation

Mix
brown
sugar
and\tspices in top of double boiler. Stir in\twater and vinegar.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce comes to a boil and is thick and smooth. Stir
in
raisins.\tPlace over boiling water and cook until raisins are plump.\tStir in oleo.
Store in refrigerator until ready
to serve.
Serve hot.
Will keep in refrigerator about 1 month.
