Garlic Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 garlic cloves, peeled and slightly crushed
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 c. chicken stock or broth
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 slices stale bread, cut into cubes
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    In a soup pot, over medium-high heat, saute the garlic in the olive oil until golden.
    Remove from the heat and cool slightly. Return the pot to a low heat and slowly add stock, salt, pepper and bread.
    Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Remove 2 tablespoons of the soup broth and mix with the egg.
    Add the egg mixture to the soup and stir.
    Continue cooking until the soup starts to thicken, about 2 minutes.
    Serve!
    Makes 4 cups.
