Frozen Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cukes, peeled or not
    2 peppers
    3 medium onions, sliced thin
    1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. kosher salt
Preparation
    Combine the sugar, vinegar and celery seed; warm just to dissolve sugar.
    Do not boil.
    Sprinkle the kosher salt over cukes, peppers and onions; let stand 2 hours, then drain.
    Pour liquid into jars over cukes, peppers and onions.
    Makes 4 or 5 pints.
    Put in freezer.
    Thaw to use.
