Halpuchis (Ukranian Cabbage Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large cabbage leaves
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 tsp. horseradish
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Steam cabbage until barely tender. Set aside. Brown ground beef and onion. Stir in rice, celery, horseradish, and mustard. Cook until celery begins to soften. Stir in egg. Spoon mixture into cabbage leaves. Roll and fasten with toothpicks. Place in shallow baking dish, 1 layer deep. Cover with tomato juice. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8. Freezes nicely.
