Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
1 (4 serving size) pkg. chocolate flavor instant pudding
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0. Beat margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Mix in flour, baking soda and the box of pudding. Stir in chips and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
