Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 heaping Tbsp. Crisco
    4 c. flour, sift before measuring
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar and
    Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after
    each
    addition.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt alternately
    with
    milk.
    Stir
    in vanilla flavoring. Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
