Apple Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. apples, chopped
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Blend shortening
    and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs, milk and lemon extract.
    Sift
    in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Blend chopped
    apples
    to the mixture and pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle
    with
    sugar
    and pecans.
    Bake for 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0.
