One Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add whole egg; beat thoroughly, then add flour, which has been sifted with baking powder several times. Gradually add milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in buttered cake tins at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
