Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. mashed bananas
2 c. chopped nuts, divided in half
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. oil
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add beaten eggs and oil, stirring with a large spoon until moist.
(Do not beat.)
Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas and 1 cup of nuts. Spoon into 3 greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool in pans 10 minutes, then remove.
Cool completely before icing.
