Mixed Nut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. or more peanuts or mixed nuts
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water and Karo syrup to 280\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
    Add other ingredients and boil to 300\u00b0.
