Nut Macaroon Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Mix together butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar; press into an 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Mix remaining ingredients together thoroughly.
    Spread over baked layer.
    Return to oven to bake 1/2 hour or until lightly browned.
