Rattlesnake Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. ground rattlesnake, armadillo, chicken or turkey
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato puree
    1 Tbsp. ground cumin
    1/2 (12 oz.) can beer
    2 (4 oz.) cans diced green chiles
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 (16 oz.) cans pinto beans (optional)
Preparation
    In skillet, brown choice of ground meat with onion and garlic. Put in electric slow-cooker, adding remaining ingredients.
    In pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes to an hour. In slow-cooker, on low setting cook 6 hours or overnight.
    Serves 6.
