Marvelous Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. water
5 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin (Kosher; Emes brand)
4 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
2 (9-inch) baked pie shells
Preparation

In large saucepan, combine sugar, water and cornstarch over medium heat.
Stir until clear and thickened.
Add gelatin.
Let mixture cool.
Add strawberries to cooled gelatin mixture.
Pour strawberry filling into 2 baked pie shells.
Chill pies until ready to serve.
Top with whipped cream if desired.
Yields 2 pies (8 slices each).
