Adobong Carne(Beef In Hot And Tangy Coconut Sauce) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stewing beef, cut in 2-inch cubes
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    6 peppercorns, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can coconut milk
    2 hot banana peppers
    1-inch slice ginger, cut in strips
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except coconut milk, in a pot and bring to a boil.
    Lower heat and simmer for an hour or until beef is tender.
    Remove hot peppers after first 30 minutes and set aside.
    (Or add peppers during last 10 minutes of cooking for not too hot a sauce.)
    Add coconut milk and simmer 5 minutes longer. Return hot peppers.
