Escalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 small can biscuits, cooked and crumbled
    1 Tbsp. white sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add biscuits and sugar.
    Cook slowly. Stir in tomatoes and seasoning. Place mixture in buttered, shallow pan and bake 45 minutes in medium oven.
