Mexican Food Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pinto beans
3 lb. pork roast
6 Tbsp. chili powder
3 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
chopped onions (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Soak beans overnight.
Add roast and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 6 hours or until done. Remove roast and strip the fat off, then cut into bite size pieces. Put back into beans and simmer until thick.
Serve buffet style with bowl of the following: Fritos, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions, chopped avocado, picante sauce, sour cream, black olives and chopped jalapenos.
Stack as desired, starting with Fritos and beans.
