Almond Tofu - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. roasted almonds
    2 lb. firm tofu, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
    1/2 c. soy sauce, divided
    2 Tbsp. peanut butter
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder
    4 Tbsp. oil, divided
    1 large bell pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
    6 to 8 green onions, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
    3 stalks celery, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
    1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
    2 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Whip together 1/4 cup soy sauce, peanut butter, garlic powder and onion powder.
    Mix with the tofu cubes and marinate for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in skillet; add tofu and brown until liquid is absorbed.
