Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. ginger
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening until soft and light, then add 2 cups sugar and continue creaming until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and molasses.
Sift all dry ingredients and add to mix little by little (beating hard).
Batter will be quite soft.
Roll into balls and into remaining sugar.
Place on greased baking sheet. Cook 12 to 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Let stand a minute before removing from pan.
