Texas Hot Cocoa Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. liquid shortening
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. quick blending flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter with liquid shortening, cocoa and water in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil and stir.
Sift sugar and flour in a large bowl.
Pour liquid mixture over flour mixture; beat until smooth.
Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla, mixing well.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
