Seafood Linguine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. medium shrimp, deveined
    1 lb. bay scallops, washed
    1 lb. linguine
    1 can crushed tomatoes
    1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 medium onions, cut in fourths and cut again
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    1 shake red pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. sugar
    5 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    In a pan, melt butter.
    Add onions and mushrooms; simmer until transparent.
    Add tomatoes and seasonings; cook for 15 minutes. Add fan-tailed shrimp; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add scallops; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add cheese; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Serve over linguine.
