Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    3 potatoes, cubed
    6 carrots, cubed
    3 ribs celery, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca (instant)
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put into roaster as listed; cover.
    Put into oven.
    Cook at 250\u00b0 for about 4 hours.
    (Do not open lid while cooking.)
