Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    3 or 4 bananas
    1 (16 oz.) crushed pineapple
    2 cartons frozen strawberries
    16 oz. whipped topping
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Bake 2 layer cake as directed.
    To assemble in punch bowl, place one layer cake in bottom of bowl.
    Prepare instant pudding; use half on first layer.
    Slice bananas over pudding.
    Pour half of pineapple (juice and all) over bananas.
    Put strawberries 1/4-inch deep over pineapple.
    Top with whipped topping.
    Repeat layers. Top with pecan halves and refrigerate.
    This is a very showy dessert.
