Peppered Steak With Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. sirloin steak
1 medium onion
1 green pepper
1 clove garlic
4 mushrooms
1 1/2 c. rice
3 c. water
1 bottle soy sauce
1 bottle Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Cut the steak into one-inch strips and place in skillet.
Pour a little soy sauce over each piece of steak.
Saute until brown, adding soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce as needed.
Place 3 cups of water in a pot and bring to a boil; add rice.
Cook the water out of rice and remove from stove.
Cut up the green pepper, onion, garlic and mushrooms into a desirable size.
Add to the steak in skillet.
Add some more soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce to cover the bottom of the skillet.
Also sprinkle some soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce on the vegetables.
Cook until steak strips are dark brown.
Serve over rice.
Also good with salad and garlic bread.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
