Hawaiian Wedding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
5 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk *
3 c. flour
5 egg whites, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (20 oz.) chunk pineapple
coconut
chopped pecans

Preparation

*Note:
I use dry buttermilk (using the reserved pineapple juice for the water).
