Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa
2 1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in a 2-quart microwavable bowl. Slowly whisk in milk. Stir until cornstarch is completely dissolved.
Cook on High power 7 to 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until pudding begins to thicken. Stir in butter and vanilla.
Pour into 4 individual serving dishes. Cover with plastic wrap.
Chill.
