5 Hour Baked Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef, cubed
    7 or 8 potatoes, cut in chunks
    6 carrots, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 onion, cut
    1 can peas with juice
    1 c. celery, cut
    1 large can whole tomatoes with juice
    4 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 slice bread, broken into pieces
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix all together in a large roasting pan with a tight cover. Put in oven at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
    Do not uncover or open oven.
