Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
1 c. ALL-bran cereal
2 c. other bran cereal
1 1/2 c. sugar or Splenda (sugar substitute)
2 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. melted butter
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Pour boiling water over all-bran.
Set aside.
Mix the other dry ingredients.
Add eggs, butter and buttermilk.
Beat until well mixed.
Add the hot cereal.
Bake the number of muffins needed at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Place the remaining batter in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator.
Batter will keep for 6 weeks.
