Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 (No. 2 1/2) can sliced peaches *
Preparation

Melt margarine in a 9 x 9-inch pan in oven.
Pour a mixture of the first 5 ingredients over the margarine. Top with sliced peaches, saving 1/2 of the juice-liquid.
As the flour mixture rises above the fruit and starts to brown, pour saved liquid-juice over it evenly.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
