Fried Onions With Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 onions
3 large tart apples
2 Tbsp. drippings
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
Preparation
-
Cook onions slowly in drippings until nearly tender.
Add apples (sliced), water and salt.
Cover.
Cook until apples are soft.
Remove cover.
Cook until water is gone and light brown. Serve hot.
Yield: 3 servings.
