Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. round steak (1 to 1 1/2-inches thick)
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1 can tomatoes or stewed tomatoes
    1 onion, sliced
    1 whole green pepper, sliced
Preparation
    Place steak on bread board.
    Mix flour, salt and pepper. Pound into steak on both sides.
    Brown steak on both sides in hot fat.
    Add tomatoes or stewed tomatoes, onion and green pepper. Cover tightly and simmer for 1 hour or until tender.
    I use electric skillet.
