Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. cherry Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries (partially frozen)
    2 bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. sour cream
    1 large can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    In large container, combine gelatin with boiling water.
    Stir until dissolved; then fold in all at once strawberries with juice, pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Pour half mixture into long dish; refrigerate until firm.
    Keep the other half over warm water to keep it from congealing.
    Spread sour cream over firm Jell-O then spoon the other half of mixture over sour cream.
    Refrigerate at least 3 hours or until firm.
    Makes 12 to 15 servings.
